Respect All, Fear None

first of all, a very big congrats to Josh for passing his TP test.
always knew you could do it and am very proud of you bro!
now its time to get your favourite car hehe; the Mitsubishi Lancer EX.

sarah and i went to the pm at JW this morning.
it sure was difficult dragging yourself outta bed at 5 in the morning but I'm glad I did anyway. still, it felt weird only two people from our cg going there.
although it was only an hour, it was a fantastic time there and they even offered breakfast after the whole event.
not to mention the starbucks voucher they gonna give out if you go five times.
unfortunately, although I'm a sucka for coffee, I don't really go to starbucks often.
(time to be the good guy XD) anybody wants my voucher?
for starters, God answered both of our prayers for you passing your TP test Josh so you better thank Him.
i'm sure there are more answered prayers to come in due time.

after that I went to Mac at JP to do some studying.
i was quite surprised to find so many students there considering it was only around 8:30am
anyway, after i went to get my hair cut...no, shaved would be the right word.
yes, its back to the "botak" hairstyle back in my sec sch days
like what I told Sarah, the barber i always go to since my sec sch days mostly work with shavers.
in fact, he never used scissors to cut my hair even when it was long.
now that's what i call skilled.
oh yeah, my good ol' barber whose shop's called Donald Duck.
if you're wonderin if I'm kiddin about the shop name, well wonder no more

the next section may sound a little nasty to some people
if you cant take people giving you advice i suggest you just skip the next part.
i'm NOT scolding anyone here nor am i holding any grudge,
just telling them to keep their words in check.
i'm also not gonna mention names lest it damage friendships but i'm sure you will know if you're one of 'em.

"your life is very boring le"
this is one of those sentences i really hate people for saying.
sure, you might find what someone likes doing is boring
but everyone is unique and have their own interests so who are you to judge?
call them oversensitive if you want but when a person's in a shitty mood
or they are feeling down inside for one reason or another
but just not showing it on the outside
and with you saying this to him/her,
you're asking for the person to blow up and your friendship to turn sour.
for all you know, that very same person whom you find boring might find your life boring as well.

"you very kiam siap (kiam siap = stingy) le"
if you think the previous one was bad,
i hate people the MOST for saying this.
next time you wanna say that, think about it;
can you be sure that this person is really stingy and
not going through some kinda financial difficulties?
or perhaps they want to save for the future?
we all have our own pocket money but not all of this are equal.
you might have more and i thank God for that
but not all of us are as privileged as you are.
even i sometimes have my own financial difficulties
and when my friends tell me not to be so stingy,
i'll really get pissed off.
you might not think twice spending money on a certain subject like food or fashion or in my case, car magazines
but not everyone spends their money like the way you do.

Next time when you wanna say something like that in the future,
put yourself in the person's shoes
and think about the possibilities for him/her rejecting the offer
instead of criticizing him/her and making a joke outta them.
it may just be a joke to you and you might not mean any harm
but to them it might hurt.

you tried your best and you failed miserably.
the lesson is "never try"
