its been one heck of a busy week i've been out practically everyday either catching up with old friends, church or out recky-ing for some things me will just tell you guys about one or two of these days i'll never finish if i type everything out XD and i thank my mom for being so understanding that i couldnt have dinner with her everyday although i do miss her cooking... 'you never know what you're missin till you've lost it' eating food outside during the time outside really made me appreciate her cooking may be weird for a guy but i think i should really try cooking together with her one day in the kitchen XD
on wednesday night we celebrated cindy's birthday at clarke quay!!! cant really remember the name...mai mason or something like that supposedly its in french anyway, some of my cg members and sarah members were there too it was a night fulla fun and laughter as we watched the games played by cindy and a few others and the forfeits for losing XD cindy looked so pretty!!! she was dressed like a princess with that white dress of hers and the tiara =D i also met some other people for the first time... xiao hui, maple, joel and many others which i cant remember their names shucks, me never been good at remembering many people names at one goXD and well...in one way or another... i had trouble hmm..no scratch that, not trouble more of 'no clicking power' with my cg members i'm trying my best to integrate with them but its just so...difficult at times when you dont really get their inside jokes and the silly things they laugh about it does get lonely and feeling left out at times and i dont blame em, i guess its part of being the new guy there's still time and i intend to use it to get to know them better!!!
then yesterday we celebrated another birthday!! my good ol' sister sarah turns 21!!! well...not yet exactly but soon we celebrated at costa sands chalet and it was one helluva good celebration, huat ar =D hehehe you shoulda seen her when she opened the present our old W331 cg members gave her she was screaming like crazy i thought she was gonna burst XD i'm glad she liked it after all that hunting josh and i did at taka last week the food was also...like ah siao always say, 'up ar!' which either he meant expensive or high class aiya sama sama la ar XD as long as you get my flow it was also a funny night with josh, sam chew and i discussing about a certain someone someone that makes sam chew shrink in horror and josh's hair on his arms stand XD hahahaha their faces are always full of it when they see her getting close to them i dont have any side effects like them...yet =P ok enough with this crazy talk XD both of em stayed back in the chalet while i had to head home yeah, my mom didnt allow me to stay overnight i didnt want to start an argument with her anyway and she had her reasons..whatever they are for doing so just hope that i'll be free when i turn 21
i've been thinking of our conversation yesterday and yeah, i'm glad i went ahead to talk to you it was tough when i thought about how to bring it up to you and all the things that could go wrong but thank God it didnt :) looking back at a year ago, we really went a little too far ahead of ourselves...or at least i did on my part silly me thinking it was love at first sight, and all that led me to feeling like a complete train wreck inside during the past few months things like the 'love at first sight thingy' probably only happens in fairy tales and movies i guess..who knows? i'm really thankful all the friends who lended me their listening ear and patience during this time without em, would never have really recovered well anyway, i'm relieved we can still be friends i do hope we can go back to how we used to be all fun and laughter =D and i'm happy for you :)
days blurred into each other though everything seemed clear
the reason to never bring animals for weddings XD anyway, 3 days back into singapore and i still cant believe it myself it feels so...surreal, like a dream i had this crazy imagination from time to time of me waking up from this dream and finding myself in my dorm bed i'm still trying to adjust to the hot and humid weather here but hey..at least the air here is much much cleaner and i'm lovin the magnificent view from my room!!! =D
it was valentine's yesterday and heck...yeah me still is single XD which has its advantages anyway we had to do a present exchange after service me got a whole bag fulla snacks and sweets from yizhen because they start with the letter 's' and it was sweet of her to draw some cute pictures on the package :) unfortunately, i'm not the type who eat snacks often but i'll still try to finish it on the other hand, i had to get a present for flora 'e-ni-my-ni-mini-mo' didnt know what she liked so i just went with my intuition thank goodness she found the forever friends teddy bear cute and liked it =D after that, some of us had to go off for some reasons but the rest stayed for pm before having frog porridge for dinner at clementi i found it quite surprising for some people to not like to eat that not that its anything bad, just...surprising XD its not that gross and i have eaten much worse....things like...well, maybe lets not go there =P i guess cause my mom kinda like forced me to eat everything she cooked when i was young so i dont have much trouble eating almost anything...except for bitter gourd *ugh, yuck* i still have trouble trying to eat that since young yeah after that, sarah, josh and i went back home while the rest went to party the night away
met up with josh today to do some shopping for....something then after that we met sitong, sarah and sam chew all of them except sarah came for a short while before they had to leave thank you guys really, i appreciate the time each of you took off to fellowship together despite being so busy =D yup, so sarah and i went to watch the first of many movies soon after 'valkyrie' at cineleisure guess who we saw.... our big brother JH was there too XD then we saw sitong, her sister and her cousin there as well hahahaha, the way we met sure was funny XD you shoulda seen sarah's face, she looked so...stunned and guilty at the same time =P anyway, it was a pretty interesting movie about hitler's germany and treason it was a very very nice day, thank you to all my homies for making it possible you would really never know how to appreciate the people around you until you've been away from them for some time
man, i sure got a busy week ahead...
mon: meeting with my grandpa for lunch then gymming with josh
tues: going with kenneth yeo to bras basah to check out some stuff for my new hobby then meeting sarah for more exercise (i know, i cant believe it either XD) and dinner
wed: medical checkup at cmpb ( good grief!!! the distance...) and maybe spending some time with my poly friends in the evening before rushing off for cindy's birthday dinner
thurs: dinner with mah brotherhood near the policeman's house XD
fri, sat and sun as usual...spending time at church and with my homies =D
i'd tell you i'd never leave you and love you till the end of time, if you were in these arms tonight :)

Josh, Elyn and JH wanted to gimme a surprise, but.... alamaaaaaaaak *smack forehead* so so so so so so sorry to the three of you and sitong too...she wanted to come down to the airport on the way home from school but i told her to go home instead to get some rest, thank you you silly gal XD what matters is its from the heart and i appreciate it :) thank you to everyone else who called and sms-ed argh geez, i'm feeling a little groggy from the lack of sleep yesterday after having supper with the brotherhood, i started unpacking all my stuff and it was already 3+ in the morning by the time i was done so the stubborn me decided to might as well stay up all the way since i had to leave the house at 5 for pm *ti ki some more la* i tried sleeping earlier but nope...just cant for some reason pm was great by the way...never felt so refreshed for so long :) tomorrow i still have to get up early to go help ouyang never thought i'd be this busy after i came back

'auntie, kopi gao ji puey!!' havent had that since...six months ago 0.o then at macs sarah wanted to take photos with me but...not with that kinda hairstyle i had she wasnt it was horrible and uber untidy so i could not resist the temptation to go for a haircut earlier!!! she on the other hand ck tang-ed as much as possible when we were at mac XD from 9:15 to 9:45 then finally to 10 before she decided to go to work *tsk tsk* anyway me cant wait to meet the rest of the group later =D
i gotta go meet momomolissa later to pass her her johnnie walker XD she's super le...december already booked me to buy hard liquor the wines and beer were taken by mk at DFS too =P sorry to the rest if you wanted alcohol...gotta book early like i told edmund first come, first serve basis...no biaseness XD speaking of buying things, shucks..that reminds me,i havent got the valentine's day gift for the gift exchange tomorrow :X what to buy what to buy what to buy????

I just saw this week's service online earlier at noon couldnt get up in time for the 10am service after going to sleep at 5 in the morning yesterday ah siao and i went cycling around taipei after midnght until 3 plus in the morning and i coulda sworn the distance we cycled was like......too much i'm having a little cramps on my legs and butt because of that...sheesh anyway Pastor's sermon was hilarious but it was quite an eye opener indeed, women are complex creatures XD the things you thought you knew about the opposite sex =P
alright enough with the talking and back to the where we went last week i remember after anping in tainan, we were going to a place called kenting but before that, we had a short stopover at kaoshiung for some snacks this was one of the mrt stations..i think the name was formosa boulevard or something like that

i have to say the people in the kaoshiung mrt are less disciplined compared to those in taipei oh...i prolly havent told you guys yet (although people like Cindy and Chris know since they went before) the taipei people actually queue up in front of the train doors and i dont mean those chapalang queues like in singapore...orderly ones, along the lines painted on the floor not to mention, they wait until those alighting have left before they board the train seriously, singaporeans should really learn from em instead of blocking the doors and rushing in even before the people can alight i hope none of you are like that =P

after that, it was four or five hour bus journey to kenting highways, country side views with rice and fish farms along the coast of taiwan (for some reason, the song 'country roads' by john denver kept ringing in my head during this period XD) we arrived quite late into the night, into somewhere called 船帆石 and this's the place where we stayed...

made with real sand and sea shells...or at least looked like it =P
more activity the next day!!! mostly beach activities that is...this jet ski started all the comical stuff that happened dont ask and i wont tell=P

Finally!!! after almost two weeks of pia-ing my report, its over at last!! i just gave my prof my report and he said he will take a look at it over the weekend honestly, even now i'm feeling nervous about my results, i hope i did it right i can only cross my fingers and pray that he gives good results i really need em to enter uni
last week, my classmates and i actually went on a trip touring literally the whole Taiwan yup we visit the eastern, southern and western parts of it they uploaded most of the photos on fb so you prolly can go take a look if you're wondering how come we could go outta taipei for so long.... actually Taiwan has one week of public holidays for CNY!!! XD in the meantime, lemme recall what we did there.... oh and btw, most ( around 98% XD) of the photos are courtesy of ah siao
we first went to Tainan via the high speed rail, heard it travels like 200+km/hr 0.o like the name suggests, its an area in the south let the photos do the talking...

we were all tired from the travelling so we took the rest of the night into the hotel room watching myth busters and some taiwanese variety shows like 我猜 anyway, next morning at the hotel....

following that we went 安平 (an ping), background's an old fortress built by the dutch, had an uber weird name but i cant remember it though =P and all the stupid crazy things we did there.... XD

really reminded of the times how my dad used to take me out for kite flying outside our house and in marine parade back in the days when i was just a small kid in the blink of an eye, its been almost 13 years since he passed away but i'm sure he's up above, watching me alongside God :)
anyway, back to the story... after that we watched the beautiful sunset at the seaside just behind the statue zomg...this is taking far too long and there's still so much to blog about but i'm so tired i think i'll stop about the trip for now this post will prolly have to go into parts 2, 3 and maybe even 4 and oh...i was just talking to jing yi few days ago, catching up and all she's still the same old friendly and crazily funny person as before but she has really grown a lot spiritually as compared to the gal i knew back in sec sch and though she doesnt read my blog, i just wanna say "i'm proud of you jing!!!" i really thank God for friends like her not to mention, she's still as pretty as before XD (okay zu if you're reading this, we've known each other for almost a decade so we can practically guess each other's actions, if you're gonna say what i think you're gonna say, DONT START XD) anyway, seems that gal got a job at a childcare centre after her 'A' levels and she's enjoying every moment of it i'm glad she found something that she likes =D whoohoooooooooo!!!! its less than a week before i go back but there's so much to do after that *sigh*
spending time with my mom and sis
catching up with all my church homies, mah brotherhood and all my buddies,
meeting my new cg (i still get nervous when i think about this :X)
getting in touch with my new hobbies *evil grin*
oh yeah man, packing up my room to make space for those hobbies
preparing for my final presentation
uni application,
training with josh for the pft ( something tells me its not gonna be easy XD)
last but not least....i would just like to stay at home and rot away for one or two days to feel the comfort of my home =D
