have you ever watched the movie? unfortunately, its a completely different experience from playing the game the other day i just got my hands on the latest installation of this franchise; silent hill: homecoming a lot more horror compared to the previous 4 silent hill games i heard it had quite an interesting story line and there's a 101 ways of killing the monsters around you speaking of monsters, they resemble to that of the movie remember the skimpily dressed nurses wielding super sharp scalpels with no faces? yeap, they are back XD giant spiders with 4 legs that can act as blades and they got a faceless head too and finally some crawling creature that looks weird at every angle you look at it... at least, these are the monsters i've met so far well..these abominations are taken out using melee weapons most of the time cause bullets in the game are a privilege you cannot afford to waste if you wanna have an easier time with the bosses i miss the days in silent hill 2 or 3 when there was so much ammunition lying around ..no problem with just getting the shotgun and blowing the monsters' heads off their bodies honestly, even after so many years of playing this kinda games.. this one scares the crap outta me the most...much more than f.e.a.r 2 and the fatal frame series i remember playing the first silent when i was just a P4 kid and i was so scared of sleeping when bedtime came *smack forehead* the crazy imagination of those hands grabbing you in the dark or seeing one of those monsters at your window my mom would always ask me, "you funny ar, play this kind of games to scare yourself" XD speaking of which, i never had any female gamer friends who played this game at all i dunno, ladies is it the gore or the horror that scares you? =P
anyway, enough about that all that its so difficult at times i dunno the words to say or the things to do in order to bridge the gap God gimme the wisdom and strength
first of all, a super duper mega ultra big thank you to all my brothers and church homies for the celebration and the presents its one of the best i've had yet i'm 20!!!! it might be good or bad depending on the way you look at it... of course looking from cindy and christina's one...it would prolly mean the latter XD looking at my younger cousins and zubin's brother grow up, i myself am starting to feel old man
and thank you to zu and kenneth for accompanying me to go get me ''new wife'' XD i'm still currently thinking of a name for her so dont be puzzled when i start asking you for your favourite female names if you're still clueless, its a guitar yeah, thinking of all my favourite guitarists and when i held my first one in my own hands... it kinda felt a little unreal and the road to their level's not gonna be as easy as i thought after i saw how kenneth tried out the guitars today.. oh i forgot to mention, kenneth's an old time friend of mine when we met back in primary school... P1 i remember, we were in the same class till P4 then we ended in the same school in secondary school but not the same class...until sec 3 and sec 4 then we ended up going to the same poly that guy bought his first electric guitar at P4 and has been playing since (now he has 4 guitars, including acoustic ones too i think) during our sec school days, he was called the guitar god among us any problems you have with your guitars, acoustic or electric...he's the man to go to
anyway he asked me who was my favourite guitarist so i decided to might as well do a post on it yeah man, the one who really inspired me was uh....lets see Carlos Santana this dude is old man but he's one of the best in the business he started out when he was a teenager too i think and went through the hippy age the good ol' crazy days when drugs were an everyday thing and alcohol was cheap like water XD this was how he looked like in his 20s i think most people say his best songs were 'europa' (a full instrumental track) and 'smooth' ( a collarboration with rob thomas) but i still think 'i'm feeling you' (a collarboration with michelle branch) and 'into the night' (yet another collarboration with chad kroeger) are the best, you should see the mv on youtube they are my favourite tracks too, never fails to make me smile...for whatever reason anyway me do hope to play like him one day =)
well thats all i've got, thanks again homies!!! =D
i just got back from watching DMC which stands for Detroit Metal City with the guys if you guessed it had something to do with music, you got it its a japanese film about a guy chasing his dreams to be musician like any japanese film or anime, there's a lot of exaggeration in the plots but its more of comedy so its alright :) we were laughing so hard at almost every part of the movie there are some parts that are vulgar to some extent but i'd still recommend it to anyone who has time on their hands alright next movies up, handsome suit and fast and furious 4 (oh yeah!!! finally!)
good news!! my mom's sponsoring my new guitar for a birthday present!!! like i told josh, no worries this time its a real guitar, not the one from guitar hero XD (speaking of guitar hero, the guys are comin over on wed to play the guitar hero:metallica i just got today i just hope no hell breaks loose with 5-7 people jammin on one single guitar in a room heck, i hope nothing breaks at all) but i still gotta pay for the amp myself *smack forehead* its been a week since i applied for that job at IRAS but i still havent got any replies... i need a financial breakthrough GOD!!!!!
and malcolm if you're reading, about what we were talking about yesh yesh i know you're concerned, or maybe just plain kpo (which i hope not :P) anyway, i do appreciate the concern i will tell you as soon as i have one in mind as for now, things have been a little crazy around me and like i told you its no big deal i talked to cindy about it so you can go ask her if you really really cannot tahan like what you said XD
strap up and get ready to ride the lighting this saturday homies!!!
and while she looks so sad in photographs, i absolutely love her when she smiles =D
