Nothing Else Matters

it feels super long since i came here
life has been pretty much the same but with a few changes
first of all, i'll prolly be enlisting in sep and place is in tekong
OMG
why cant i just go catch theives or be around the german shepherds in the canine unit like josh?
oh well, the hazards of being a male in singapore

secondly, some of you mighta known this but i've been accepted into NTU
i was really surprised cause my results arent all that good as compared to my classmates
in fact, my results are below average....at least to me
its at times like this when you can really feel our heavenly father is watching us from above :)
He never fails us even we expect ourselves to

last saturday i went to help out at the drama in the chinese ministry for the first time after service
most of the homies went to watch x-men origins: wolverine XD
but since i watched it already, i was planning on goin home early to rest
then here our good sister sitong asking if i could go help out
oh well...how could i say no??? :P
but i felt bad about not being able to make it to the expo service the next morning with flora cause i promised her i would be goin
thankfully, she was understanding :)
anyway back to the story
so back to the church we went after dinner
and into the auditorium we went
sitong intro-ed me to all her friends there especially those from SOT
most of em came from taiwan
and immediately they reminded me of how horrible my mandarin when i was there and even now XD
seriously, i'm more used to the more ang moh pai environment here in singapore
after all, i was brought up speaking english most of the time at home....and a little bit of hokkien XD
the drama was the lovebusters one but the cast was entirely different
dont worry, i wasnt acting with em...just part of the three men backstage crew
believe it or not, we practiced until 1+ in the morning cause the director wasnt too pleased with the casts' performance
not to mention we gotta reach the church the next morning by 7
i almost fainted when i heard that
hahahaha even cindy also said "omg sam, what have you gotten yourself into this time?" XD
yeap so took a cab back and reached home by 2
i wanted to stay up through the night like i did back during the prayer meeting when i came back that day
but i couldnt tahan after 4 so i went to sleep for about an hour before setting out again
eventually the performance was a smashin success!!!! =D
and guess who i met after the service?
greg was at the lift and he looked so surprised when he saw me hahaha
and steph too!!
i also finally got to see her prince charming bf, no wonder both of them won the competition XD
tiring it was after sleeping only for an hour but there was a great sense of satisfaction and i'm glad to be able to help them :)
hmm...i might just consider joining the backstage crew XD

the past few days i've been learning how to cook from my mom while looking for jobs at home
i know i know its not usually what a guy would do XD
still, its fun when you see the fruits of your labour :)
