Life goes on...

I am really lagging behind in my studies, sometimes I have no idea how to go about doing the examples in the lecture...not to mention the tutorials. Sheesh, gotta find one day to sit down and really really concentrate on studying. Anyway, after all the previous emo blog entries, lets keep this a light hearted one. A photo of Molissa and me!

She's one of the 3 siao po in my class who laughs at almost anything for whatever reason you can think of. Actually, she wanted to show off her new tattoo on her wrist but didn't pose properly. Quite lian if you ask me about the tattoo but gotta give her credit for choosing a nice design and she's got GUTS (or balls if you want to put it crudely)! Yup, thats about it for today and oh yes, I have taken quite a liking to Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd. Its one of those more mellow songs and its got quite a nice long guitar solo at the end.

Perhaps its the best way after all

I am really tired of this, really. I mean what did I do to make you treat me this way? Was it something I said? Or perhaps something I did? This time I have really lost my patience and I have f***ing had it enough with you. You know what? You wanna act like we are strangers? Like we never met before? So be it, I will grant you your wish! I am human and I have feelings too you know...

Well Done Fool!

If you have seen the news yesterday, you woulda known about the overturned trailer on the CTE yesterday. I do not know how the heck the driver can overturn such a long vehicle unless he made a sharp turn at high speed. Anyway, I am positive that whacked guy caused one of the worst traffic jams in Singapore's history and I was bloody unlucky to be caught in it last night. I thought taking 52 from Jurong to Bishan would probably take 2 hours at most but the jam that started at the Eng Neo Ave exit to the Lornie Road exit alone took one and a half hours cause every car heading from Jurong to Changi Airport had to exit at Lornie Road. The whole journey took more than 4 hours. Sheesh, I coulda sworn that jam's worse than the Woodlands-Johore Checkpoint at peak hours. Lets just hope no one tries to break his record.

Came and gone

As some of you might have known, I caught the fever bug yesterday. When I rushed off to see the doc after class, the bus was like a can of sardines and I had to end up standing for almost the whole 2 hour journey. Thats not the worst part yet. At the MacRitchie reservoir bus stop, some CJC canoeing students got on board. Along with them, came the stench of perspiration coupled with the rain which was...tok gong ar!! They were also yappin away so loudly I think the whole bus knew what they were talking about. Sheesh... but who am I to judge?
The fever went down after a few hours and I really thank God for that. If you had asked me a year back, I woulda said it was just a coincidence and God had nothing to do with it. Although I was born into a Christian family, I did not really believe in Jesus due to an unexpected event until a few months back when my life started turning around. In any case, I'm grateful for the Lord's healing and his protection all these years. Speaking of which,I wanna thank all who sent me the well wishes. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! :)

I'm back!

Its been more than a year since I last blogged due to the busy schedule in school. I don't think this semester is gonna be any easier than the last especially with the FYP and all the politics involved. Speaking of politics, last week was hell after the PED class. You see the angry faces and hear the irritated voices when some people became mad at the others for forming their own group first. Guess thats why people say "its every man for himself". Anyway,lets not go into it any further lest it open up old wounds.

Last semester's six weeks of holiday was entirely...well, five to be exact...spent at CPTC learning anything and everything about working in a process plant. The information learnt there was valuable and there was much fun there so I can't complain anyhow but the air there was horrible!! You can smell the "aroma" of hydrogen sulphide even at the Jurong Island checkpoint. Here's a picture of the scenery there in the evening.
We weren't supposed to bring in cameras due to security reasons but argh...rules are meant to be broken so why bother? I also wanna thank all my bros and friends for celebrating my birhday there although it was four in the morning during the shift work and everyone was tired. We also got the instructors there to take a picture with us.Really appreciate it guys!
